Role Overview
About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Java Interns who are eager to apply their academic knowledge of programming in real-world projects. This role is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in software development, learn industry practices, and build their career in Java development.
What You Will Do
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of Java-based applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under guidance.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications.
- Collaborate with the development team on coding, documentation, and testing.
- Learn and apply best practices for version control, code reviews, and agile development.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Hands-on experience with real-world projects.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies & industry-standard tools (Git, Jira, etc.).
- Mentorship from experienced developers.
- Certificate of Internship & potential for pre-placement offer (PPO).
Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of Core Java (OOPs concepts, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, encapsulation).
- Familiarity with Data Structures & Algorithms.
- Basic knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS) and SQL.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (good to have).
- Knowledge of Java frameworks like Spring / Spring Boot (basic understanding is a plus).
- Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / M.Sc. (CS/IT) or equivalent.
- Strong interest in Java development and backend technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
