Role Overview
Linux System Administrator – Mumbai
Location: Mumbai
Joining: Immediate Joiners Only
- Experience in Linux/RHEL System Administration in enterprise/production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in Linux OS upgrades and migrations.
- Experience with Leapp-based RHEL upgrades and upgrade planning, pre-checks, post-checks, and rollback activities.
- Strong experience with Red Hat Satellite administration and patch management.
- Hands-on experience with Satellite Content Views, Lifecycle Environments, Activation Keys, repositories, and host registration.
- Experience in OS patching, package management, YUM/DNF, and RPM.
- Strong knowledge of LVM, filesystems, NFS, systemd, SSH, SELinux, firewalld, and Linux networking.
- Experience in Linux performance monitoring and tuning.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for CPU, memory, disk, filesystem, network, boot, and application-related Linux issues.
- Knowledge of Shell scripting and Ansible automation.
- Experience supporting production environments, incidents, changes, and critical issues.
- Good coordination skills with Application, Database, Network, Storage, and Security teams.
- Red Hat certifications / Ansible / HA-Clustering / Red Hat Insights will be an added advantage.
