Role Overview
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced RHOSO Engineer who can independently deploy and manage Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift (RHOSO) environments.
What You Will Do
- Independently deploy, configure, and manage RHOSO environments.
- Install and configure OpenShift clusters for RHOSO deployments.
- Deploy and manage OpenStack services such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Horizon, and Heat.
- Configure networking, storage, and compute services in production environments.
- Perform upgrades, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
- Automate deployment and operational activities using Ansible.
- Work closely with infrastructure, networking, and storage teams during implementation and support.
- Prepare deployment documentation and operational runbooks.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in OpenStack administration and deployment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift (RHOSO).
- Must be capable of independently deploying RHOSO from scratch.
- Good experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Experience with OpenStack services: Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Horizon, Heat, etc.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (VLAN, VXLAN, OVN/OVS), storage, and virtualization.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible automation.
- Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
