Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Management Specialist with expertise in Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM) and Unified Inventory View (UIV). This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining inventory models for telecom services and resources, ensuring seamless integration across OSS/BSS systems.
What You Will Do
- Develop and install UIM cartridges for modeling logical and physical inventory
- Configure Extension Points and Rule Sets within UIM cartridges
- Integrate UIM with upstream systems using SFWS, custom web services, and UIM APIs
- Work with UIM Inventory Managers (Service Manager, Connection Manager, Search Criteria Manager)
- Design and configure Calculate Technical Actions (CTAs) for service orchestration
- Apply conceptual modeling principles for inventory design and lifecycle management
- Support implementation projects across Wireless, Cable, DSL, VoIP, and GSM domains
- Ensure real-time synchronization and unified view of customer, service, and resource inventory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support service fulfillment and assurance
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle UIM/UIV development and inventory management
- Strong understanding of telecom networks and service modeling
- Hands-on experience with UIM APIs, SFWS, and cartridge development
- Familiarity with OSS/BSS architecture and integration patterns
- Proficient in Java, XML, and web services technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
