Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Nokia UIV (Unified Inventory) Developer with strong expertise in telecom inventory management and OSS solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and integrating Nokia UIV for telecom operators across fixed and mobile networks. The role involves backend development, inventory modeling, integrations, and supporting inventory-driven fulfillment and assurance use cases.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Nokia UIV applications and components.
- Develop Java-based customizations, Action Codes, adapters, and business logic.
- Configure and customize the UIV data model, inventory objects, and relationships.
- Implement inventory reconciliation, discovery, and synchronization processes.
- Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs for OSS/BSS integrations.
- Integrate UIV with systems such as FlowOne, Assurance, NCOM, EMS/NMS, and third-party applications.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
- Follow Agile development methodologies and CI/CD best practices.
Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Nokia Unified Inventory (UIV).
- Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework.
- Java Collections, Multithreading, JDBC.
- REST APIs, SOAP Web Services.
- SQL (Oracle/MariaDB/MySQL).
- XML, JSON, XSLT.
- UIV Data Model customization.
- Action Code Development.
- UIV iHub configuration.
- Inventory Reconciliation.
- TM Forum APIs (TMF638, TMF639).
- Git, Maven/Gradle.
- Jenkins CI/CD.
- Linux/Unix.
- 4–10 years of software development experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Nokia UIV development.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end Nokia UIV implementation.
- Experience in telecom inventory migration and OSS integrations is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Telecom OSS/BSS architecture.
- FlowOne, NCOM, MDSO exposure.
- 4G/5G Core, IMS, VoLTE, IP/MPLS, Optical Networks.
- Kubernetes/OpenShift and Docker.
- Kafka, JMS.
- Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
- Knowledge of TM Forum standards and Open APIs.
