Role Overview:
•The FlowOne Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end projects involving Nokia’s FlowOne orchestration platform for 5G network automation. This role combines technical understanding with strong project management skills to ensure the successful design, implementation, and delivery of automated 5G deployment solutions.
•The TPM works closely with architects, developers, and clients to ensure project milestones are achieved on time, within scope, and with high quality.
Job Responsibilities:
•Project Management: Plan, execute, and deliver FlowOne automation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and scope.
•Technical Leadership: Work closely with the FlowOne Architect and development teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
•Stakeholder Coordination: Manage communication between internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure project alignment and visibility.
•Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential project risks, create mitigation plans, and proactively address technical or operational challenges.
•Resource Planning: Allocate and manage technical resources effectively across multiple ongoing FlowOne automation initiatives.
•Delivery Oversight: Ensure high-quality delivery of automation solutions, including integration, testing, and deployment phases.
•Documentation: Oversee the preparation of project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-implementation reviews.
•UAT & Go-Live: Coordinate with customers and technical teams for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live activities, and successful deployment of 5G network automation solutions.
•Continuous Improvement: Drive best practices in project execution and contribute to process optimization and efficiency improvements.
Skills and Qualifications:
•Strong background in telecom network automation with hands-on experience in FlowOne orchestration.
•Good understanding of 5G network deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management.
•Experience managing large-scale telecom or IT automation projects with multi-functional teams.
•Proficiency in Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies and tools such as JIRA or MS Project.
•Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
•Strong communication and presentation skills for customer-facing discussions and executive reporting.
•Technical understanding of scripting and development languages such as Python or Java is an added advantage.
•Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
•PMP, Prince2, or Agile Project Management certification.
•Experience working with Nokia FlowOne platform in telecom environments.
•Knowledge of 5G Core, NFV, SDN, and NSO technologies.
•Previous experience managing international or remote technical teams.
